Graphic Card: nForce430/GeForce 6150se.

Problem:

1)After I installed ubuntu 8.0.4 , i updated everything, then download the drivers trough APLICACIONES --> AŅADIR/QUITAR (Aplications --> Add/remove.

At first it looked like everything was fine, until i rebooted. Now there are two kernels to choose (im new at this, so just by seeing two kernels i'm going to cry). Choose whatever I choose, the original one or the new one, the driver is installed fine, but i can't get a resolution over 640*480. So i had to remove the drivers and use linux without them.. at least the resolution i can use without a driver is 800*600.

2)Tried by using Envy and the problem is the same.

3)Right know i'm writting from the "original" kernel and without a driver installed. If I go to (i have it in spanish, so i'll take a guess in english).. SYSTEM ---> ADMINISTRATION ---> HARDWARE DRIVERS (a green icon with a locker) there is nothing there.. just blank and a warning (originally in spanish) "NO PRIVATIVES CONTROLLERS ARE BEING USED ON THIS MACHINE".

4)All that i tried it, tried it on both kernels... and don't even know what a kernel is or wich one to choose and wich to delete..
