Hello,
I just changed my router settings to not have WPA encryption so I can use my wifi on Ubuntu, and replaced it with MAC filtering. When I restarted Ubuntu and looked at the network it shows as encrypted. How can I manually make it un-encrypted?

I just turned off my router and checked to see if my wireless still saw it, and strangely it did. So I am guessing there has to be a cache of wireless networks.

Right click on your Network Manager icon, choose "Edit Wireless Connections".
Try removing your network and then having Network Manager rediscover it, or change the security of the connection to NONE.

There are no network listed, because I was never able to connect to it before hand, which is why I switched to MAC filtering.
