hi
I'm not really sure whether this is a problem with the modem driver or something else because the modem worked fine in the beginning, but now I get a message saying something like "cannot find /dev/modem..." and another one suggesting the modem does not exist or is in use by another process.
Further, I have two Ubuntu 8.04 installations, both are upgrades from 7.10; one on my laptop which detects the modem most times and one on my desktop which doesn't mount the modem anymore (it did some times after upgrading to 8.04).
lsusb on both systems show:
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 16d8:680a
The modem is a D-50 USB modem provided my my isp, ICE/Nordisk Mobiltelefoni.
Any help is welcome
