I recently downloaded the 8.04 Ubuntu and installed it on my laptop. After the install my D-Link WNA-1330 card works just fine. I am able to get online. BUT there are 205 updates available and I updated the system....and after that update my Network card no longer worked and I couldn't get online.
So I reinstalled from the CD and now I can get online once again... But my question is that I still have the 205 updates there, and I need to know what is causing my card to not work after the update or what I shouldn't update.
If this type of thread has been posted before please give me the link to that thread and I appologize.
Oh yeah... I am new to Ubuntu and wanting to learn more and more.
