Atheros Wireless Card

I have a toshiba satellite L305-S5865 and wanted to let everyone know that in order to get this card to work just follow my setup guide for the acer aspire,and this should get it to work,but before that you have to disable the wireless card from the BIOS first and then start ubuntu,if you don't disable it,then ubuntu wont start.

I had a Satellite L305D-S5869 and I was having wireless connectivity issues with Ubuntu 8.10 Beta. Where could I get your setup guide to the Acer Aspire? A reply would be greatly appreciated. I am presuming that the issues with the wireless card would be similar to what you have already overcome.

I have the same problem, upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10 and no longer have wireless connection, what's going on with network manager.
