Hi list,
I've read quite everything about this modem, starting from this thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=4980049&postcount=13), but my modem doesn't seem to react.
I've downloaded the USB ADSL Manager for Kubuntu here (http://www.squeezedonkey.com/svn/linux/trunk/releases/kubuntu/32-bit%20i386/), I installed the 4 deb apckages and the Manager itself, and configured it with my provider settings (VP=8 VC=35 with PPPoA).
Then I've plugged the modem, but nothing happens: the leds are green and fixed, but the ADSL Manager icon remains greyed with the tip "Starting Up".
The following time I've tried to launch it, it stalled and then the dialog closes, but the icon remains...
Any help?
