I am currently running Ubuntu Studio 8.04 and have tried installing VMWare Server using the tutorial here http://www.howtoforge.com/the-perfect-desktop-ubuntu-studio-8.04-p7 But when I try to open the console it says "Starting VMWare Server Console" on the Window List, but nothing ever comes up and it eventually just goes away. I am fairly new to linux and any help would be greatly appreciated.
