Hi ubunters.
Does anyone know about free commercial games that are FREE due to or in-game ads, or being old, or not being successful or whatever...
Thanks for your patience.

Savage 1 was released as free, and has a quite a community around it by now.

There's also some robots game that was re-released as free, but I forget the name...

Besides commercial games that you can find online, why not try actual free, open source games? Wesnoth is an open source game and it is one of my favourites. Also, here are a few links for your gaming pleasure.

Enemy territory is still really cool to play, there're a lot of people that are still playing ET.
