On my windows box if I click my middle mouse wheel down a little icon comes up, and I can scroll up and down the page simply by moving the mouse up and down.
Nothing happens when I click down the middle wheel on my mouse under xubuntu. Anyone know if I have something configured wrong, or if it's possible even?

it's not a bug, it's a feature.
highlight some text and then middleclick somewhere you can enter text (like a terminal or address bar or whatever), et voila! the text is copied. works in nearly every program in linux.
