I am having password problems. I can login with my username and password just fine, but when it prompts me to enter my administrator password, or if I go to try and change passwords for my user account it tells me my password is incorrect. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
EDIT: I figured this out, for some reason my num lock was turning on after I logged in. Not sure why. I will need to find a program that notifies me when its on.

So I take it that your keyboard doesn't have an LED indicator for the numlock button?
In any case, the numlockx package can be used to tell the computer to turn numlock on or off. This can be integrated into a startup script or routine to ensure that it's always on the setting you expect.
