Hello

I can not get the MoviePlayer to work in Ubuntu 8.04.
It starts but then it never starts to load and open the program. Then it just stops and shows stopped.

How to fix this problem in Ubuntu 8.04

Kind regards from Internetjohn

does it give you any information if you launch it from the terminal? do other media players work? (mplayer, xine, vlc etc)

have you installed the multimedia codecs? install the ubuntu-restricted-extras in synaptic or run this command in the terminal/console sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras.
