Hi
I just installed kubuntu Hardy Heron and I can't get my ethernet to work. It's Atheros L2 Fast Ethernet (on Asus P5GC MX 1333).
I also installed this package with all the dependencies:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/atl2-source
In the system tray (don't know the Linux term for it) it always shows disconnected. But it shows a device labeled as "eth0".
Please note that I'm a complete beginner in Linux, and this is my first encounter with it. So it'll be very helpful if you can provide step by step procedure for getting internet to work on it.
