It's the same as OpenOffice, except with a different interface.

The tabs are nice, but other than that, what are the advantages in using this over the alternatives available from the repositories? My only real issue with OpenOffice is that it takes up so much space, but it worked. Is this a smaller application? OpenOffice was fine for me when I first switched, although use Abiword now. Is it worth trying?

I think the interface is simpler and less cluttered then open office plus it also supports the old lotus formats.

Choice and and Micro-Competition might be good advantages?

I think I read it's based on old OO.o, with bug fixes and a few features backported, I suppose that could make it more stable but less "new".

The interface certainly looks nice.
