First i would like to say that i'm very new user to ubuntu and Apollogise for my english - i'm still learning it :)
My problem is like that.I have enabled compiz fusion and enabledsome plugins from it.I made the top and the bttom bars transperent.Yesterday i saw that the top bar isn't transperent.Wneh i move it to another location(left,right side or bottom) i saw that my desktop wallpaper isn't filling that space.It's free space with the size of the bar and i can see the background picture of desktop cube plugin.I found the solution - deleting the .gcong .gnome .gnome folders and my desktop settings being rollback to it defaults.But this problems is still on sometimes and i'm tired of deleting these folders and customizing my desktop.
