Hi,
I'm a new user to Ubuntu(Windows man)and was trying to locate the Device Manager using Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. The Help application instructed me that it is under System > Preferences > Hardware Information. Unfortunately, there is no "Hardware Information" listed under "Preferences". Am I missing a step somewhere? I've noticed that icons keep adding on to the menus as I install packages from the "Synaptic Package Manager". Any help would be appreciated. TIA
