ubuntu 7.10 running "vboxed" WinXP doesn't run so seamless

im on a ubuntu 7.10 amd64 hostOS, running a winxp x86 on vbox (1.6 and 1.62)
when i activate the seamless mode, it runs like fullscreen, even if wallpaper wipes out
the ubuntu and windows panel comes above depending on which aplication is under focus

at ubuntu 8.04, it works correctly, just in 7.10 the bug happens
any idea? :confused:

Contacting sun... ? Actually, if this "bug" just happens in 7.10 version, this should be a problem with your computer or with this version, right? Can't you upgrade to the LTS?
