Hi,

I'm wondering if the partner repositories will be updated with the new release of Opera sometime soon?

Version 9.5 of Opera was recently released, and there are package versions available for download for Ubuntu (dapper, edgy, gutsy, hardy) on the Opera website.

They also have a 64-bit version available (packages for Ubuntu gutsy and hardy), which would be great to see in the partner repositories!

For what it's worth, I found 9.5 Beta lacking a bit, so went back to 9.27 and will stay there until next Ubuntu upgrade I guess.

A new version will be in the next Ubuntu release only.

I installed the 9.5 available from Opera and just love it so far, especially the possibility of adding more bookmarks to the speed dial. I now have 25.

Yes Opera 9.5 is simply awesome. It rocks! It is better than firefox IMHO though Firefox 3 is good too.

What?!! But 8.04 just came out. I can't wait that long, I'll download the .deb from Opera's site. I need the full search history indexing.
