Ok i had to move recently and my server was working just fine, at that time it was 7.4, when i got to the new place it stopped working reinstalled the server and still didnt work dl iso disc of 8.4, and upgraded... more troubles, sudo refuses to work, it will not allow you to install anything, attempted a reinstall useing the bootdisc and it did, however sudo still gives command not found error, and when i attempted to try again it again refused... any one know what could be going on? it is hard to get the thing going when you cant touch anything...
im so frustrated.....

You need to provide more detail. It is not likely you will get help without more accurate information. What doesn't work, what have you tried, why type of hardware do you have etc...

If it says the command is not found then you need to install that app.
But as Zulu said, it's impossible to help when your question is so vague.

sorry guys... my question is is there a issue with the 64 bit server (8.4 lts) that the sudo will not allow commands to be processed, if so is there a work around, and or a patcxh or rerelease?

Hi,
I have been running 64bit Ubuntu boxes here nearly 2 years. Sudo works on 64bit Ubuntu without problem.

Was the old version 32 bit you upgraded from?
