I tried upgrading to the new Firefox 3.0 using ubuntuzilla. The installer ran fine, but when I tried to open firefox it gave me an error that I'm running GTK+ 2.8 and I need to upgrade to 2.10. However when I check synaptic or the ubuntu repositories, it says that the most current version is 2.0. Any idears?

Hi
well, by now i've seen quite a few people report this, and i know you're running dapper.
please keep an eye on this thread, where we are trying to get ff3 running on dapper:
