Hello

I am very new to Ubuntu. We have just built a server in work for using as a gatekeeper. My question is I want to be able to VNC onto the server.

I have VNC on my laptop and I am lazy and can't be bothered to get up and use the Keyboard and Mouse attached to the box. Its also easier and quicker to make changes.

I have attempted to use the Terminal Server on the box with no luck. I have attempted to install VNC onto Ubuntu with no luck.

Anyone had any success with this. Any help is greatfully received.

Thanks

Craig

you don't need to install anything on the server, it's already running XDM (similar to terminal services in the windows world). you just have to click on the button to activate it and then run the client on your PC. click on my sig link and read the XDM post.
