I'm currently doing this to mine, when I have done it I'll post pics and instructions, but I think you'll need:
Casing of your phone
Brown Paint
Yellow Paint
Orange Paint
Red Paint
Simply remove the casing, Paint the outer side of the casing in Brown, now let it dry. Print The image https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuArtwork?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=UbuntuLogo.png on a transparancy, now trace it onto the phone using an X-Acto knife to cut through the plastic transparancy and through the paint you applied. You now have the Ubuntu logo traced onto the phone. Simply apply the remaining paint using the knife lines as your guide.
