Some help with wow

Ok on vista with everything including desktop manager and everything off (pretty much my screen is blank with only world of warcraft) I get about 17 fps WTF!? So since my ram is a shared thing with my graphics and when ubuntu is running compiz lightly i have about 135mb of ram being used so i have an extra 960mb (WOO :)) on the gears test i get about anywhere from 2500-900 so what do you think my frame rate might be? Also what is a good guide for running wow on ubuntu? When I ran it on wine from my vista partition it made the mouse turn into a funky black glich square.

I would disable compiz before playing and make sure that you are using opengl and not directx. There are many guides for running on WoW on linux if you google for them.
