has anybody gotten Battlefield to work on Sun's Virual Box running XP. I have tried to do so, but upon launching of the game I keep getting a black screen and then the game crashes to my xp desktop. Also, there is a file that is created in the respective directory that reads "No Resources Found."

Has anybody been able to get this working?

Virtual Machines are not made for gaming since the video cards drivers are emulated (usually 8mb). Therefore don't try running a game under a Virtual Machine. What you can try doing is running it through Wine. Check out http://winehq.com and check the AppDB. I have run several games this way. Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament ... Hope this helps!

It is simply impossible. Virtual Box just emulates a video card, it doesnt use you hardware one.
