How important are these ports to have on a new laptop?
I am planning to buy a laptop - - which will be used mostly for my work, but I would like to use it for occasional movie watching.
I know I can connect it to a bigger monitor using the VGA port or the S-Video port. But given that the HDMI can send high quality video and sound (correct me if I am wrong), is it better to have the HDMI ports than having the VGA or S-Video?
Also the laptop that I am currently looking to buy is the Thinkpad T61 - which doesn't even have a S-Video (or atleast they dont mention it on their website)
So I guess VGA is the only option ???
Should I make HDMI ports a must have on my decision?
