Hi,
When I set my master/frontend PC up (mythbuntu 8.04) it configured the master backend IP to localhost, 127.0.0.1
I didn't question it and left it. The system has been performing exceptionally well so I was pleased.
Anyway, I got a little adventurous and thought it would be nice to access the backend from another networked PC, so I set the master backend IP to its network IP, in this case 192.168.1.5
Everything seemed to work, including frontend access from other PCs, except I could no longer set recording schedules. However, if I set the master backend IP address back to localhost, recordings would work again.
Trouble shooting this is a little beyond me. Any help?
