Hi everybody,

i'm trying to use my digital camera Samsung D60 with digikam, under Ubuntu Hardy. I have 3 problems, maybe related :
1/ this camera seems to to be recognized by digikam. It doesn't appear in the list of known cameras, but the "auto detect" works and proposes "mass storage camera"
2/ I can download the picture into the computer, but they are not rotated automatically, as it used to do with my former camera (Canon). Maybe the orientation information is simply not stored by this cameara in the pictures... I thought each camera does that ! How can i check it ?
3/ The "configuration" for this device "mass storage camera" seems not to be save correctly. If i quit the programm Digikam, and restart it, then, in the menu "Cameras", there is still the entry "Mass storage camera", but i can not use it. If i plug the camera, select "Cameara/ mass storage camera" and "download photos", i get a message saying that i can't use this device. The only solution i see is to delete this device, and "add new, detect" to "reinstall" it.

Thanks in advance for any help,

nicolas
