I'm still running Ubuntu 7.10 while waiting for 8.04.1. I've also been happily running Win2000 in VirtualBox 1.5.6.
I just installed last week's kernel update and did a proper shutdown of VBox etc. After reboot I had to run the 'vboxdrv setup' script in order to run Vbox. But now my Windows image freezes randomly before it can finish booting. I figured, "I'll just install the current version" but there's no 7.10 x86 version of VirtualBox 1.6.2 available?
What should I do?
Worst case is that I'll have to go without until I finally upgrade my system to 8.04.1 in 2 weeks, aagh....
