Hi, when the TV out options screen in the install program appears, do the composite/svideo etc. refer to the ports on your tv, or the ports on your graphics card. Also, if u select a prop. driver in that menu, i still had to enable it afterwards in the hardware manager. Is that normal, does it just instal the driver but not enable it?

Not too sure about having to enable the proprietary driver again after the install script... I'm using an nVidia 6200 series card, and selecting the GeForce 5+ series driver (nvidia-glx-new) at install had it running after the first post-install reboot.
As for the TV-Out question, I believe the options refer to both the ports on your TV and the outputs on your graphics card. More pointedly, how you're going to hook up your computer to the TV: i.e., out of the S-Video port on your card and in to the S-Video connector on your TV, out of the yellow Composite Video port on your card and in to the Composite Video port on your TV, etc. I've got a dongle that came with my nVidia card that has the Component Video outputs (Red, Green, Blue) to hook up to my 5 year old CRT HDTV; I selected "Component" on the TV-Out install screen.
