I am planning to install Mythbuntu on a Shuttle (currently running Vista MCE) which uses a wireless adapter to connect to my home network. The particular adapter doesn't appear to have a Linux driver but it works well with an NDISwrapper on another computer running Hardy.

My question is: If I install Mythbuntu from LiveCD will I be able to install the NDISwrapper before or during the instalation or should I first install Hardy, get the wireless connection working and then install Mythbuntu on top?

I've tried MythBuntu in several different network configurations.

It's best to login to the live CD get the networking working and then install MythBuntu. The install (even the live frontend) tests the connection to the backend.

I suppose if it was an all in one install, you could enter 127.0.0.1 to get past the screen.
