Well here goes.. all going well so far this morning till I go to install system updates. I get this message (see attachment for screenshot). I have never seen this message displayed before and would greatly appreciate any input. I am assuming that its not a big deal but I figured I'd ask before installing these updates. Thanks in advance.

If you have 3rd party or the extra repositories in software sources ticked you will get that message, but post the apt source list as another poster suggests.

I regularly sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade, but I will give it a shot.thanks
Edit: I assume its medibuntu but the updates that my update manager is refering to don't seem to come from there. (may be wrong of course)

Back ports downloads will cause this I think it also says NB repositories not supported by Ubutnu, every thing looks fine to me. Anything 3rd party will give you that drop down you showed, nothing to worry about unless you get a non standard 3rd party, which I didn't see.
