Do you know the name of a package of software that includes flash and codecs, etc. for Ubuntu, so it makes installation easy. I forgot what it's called.

Firefox. I remember hearing about a package of software, but I forgot the name.

I remember the package had skype, or maybe i'm wrong. I don't know, but it doesn't look like the one I used before.

Maybe it's Automatix (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatix_(software)), then. Note that this package isn't recommended for installation (one of many UbuntuForums threads (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=562550), original blog post by Matthew Garrett (http://mjg59.livejournal.com/77440.html).

Um, Automatix is no longer being developed. I wouldn't venture down that road if you can help it. Use Synaptic and search the forums for specifics. Hope that helps.
