Just reply to anyone of the threads in the normal fashion.
You can't start threads there though.

Because if it is in Recurring Discussions, it has been done before and there isn't really a need to post it again.
Of course, all rules have exceptions, there was one instance of someone making a thread in Recurring Discussions and that was me :-)

It actually wasn't a recurring discussion, but a counter to one. I posted it there because there was an active "Why use the terminal" type of threads, and mine was "Why use the GUI".
Basically, I noticed that so many people gripe about terminal apps, whereas the people who use them don't gripe back (because people who use them typically realise that GUI/CLI is just an interface to getting something done, and whatever works is used). I did a little reverse to put the GUI fans on the defense, because I was sick of defending my choice for programs.
