nuvexport xvid

Hi all,

Does anyone know if I am correct in assuming that without compiling anything that with mythbuntu 8.04 using nuvexport to transcode to Xvid is not possible.
[edit: Sorry I should have said that I meant using FFMPEG]
If so is this a limitation due to licensing/ubuntu policy or a technical issue.
