Post counts

I'm just wondering what is required for your post count to go up? I've been here for a week or two, and I have no burning desire to get millions of posts, but it's still showing only one post even though I've asked a couple of questions and been on a few threads. Do I have to allow something on the user CP page?

Community Cafe post do not count.

To be precise, You have posted 10 times in this forum, out of which 8 posts were in Community Cafe and only 2 in Absolute Beginner Talk. Posts in non support (sub-)forums, like community cafe, do not add to your post count.

Correct - Posts in the Community Cafe and OMG pInK pOnIeS don't count (as well as a couple of other forums).

Only posts in the support forums count. I've probably got over 4000 posts, but only the number on the left are in support forums
