Recently i've started to use WinAmp on my WinXP.

Im looking for a music player with similar functionality and is Gnome friendly. So AmaroK is out the question.

I've seen Songbird online, but it looks way to much like iTunes.

Anyone have suggestions?

I think I will always recomend banshee, the one in the repos is pretty old though, try this link (http://www.getdeb.net/app/Banshee)

Exaile is somewhat similar to Amarok and integrates nicely in Gnome.

Hi. You could also try BMP: GetDeb (http://www.getdeb.net/app/Beep+Media+Player), homepage (http://bmpx.backtrace.info/site/BMPx_Homepage), or search for it in Synaptic.

Hi. You could also try BMP (http://www.getdeb.net/app/Beep+Media+Player).

I second BMPx (particularly if you use last.fm/etc). It has everything, is simple, and is not bloated.

Gotta love all those alternatives for just one type of application. There's always something that suits his needs.
