My networkmanager seems to be having problems when coming out of hibernate and warm boots when dealing with my ethernet card. If my ethernet cable is not plugged in when I start Ubuntu, I can't plug it in and use automatic configuration to establish a connection. I have to reboot to make sure the ethernet is plugged in when the os starts. I've had this problem for a while but thought it was my NIC but I did a BIOS upgrade yesterday that fixed this problem in windows but still a problem in Ubuntu.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

Here is my NIC from lspci
