Hey gang. I ordered my disks on October 5th and live in the USA. Do folks have any idea how long it will take for these discs to arrive?

Give it until mid-December.

Are you actually complaining because something you are receiving for FREE from a very gracious company may not arrive exactly when you want it to??? How wrong is that?

If you want it faster you can look here and PAY for a disk to be sent to you.

oh no no no no no....I am not complaining...I was just wondering...eager to have my hands on an official copy and not a burned disc lol...but no, in no way complaining.

Just curious about how long it takes is all. I can be excited about my new found Windows-Replacement can't I?

Last time I ordered a CD from Ubuntu Shipping, it took two (2) months to arrive :D [It was Hoary by the way] So, it doesn't surprise me when aysiu says that it could arrive on December if you ordered in October :D. One more thing: I live in USA :D

My order status is "sent to shipping company."
I don't know how long it will take, but I'm guessing I'll get mine in a few weeks.

When I ordered it took probably a month and a half, it just depends on when in the cycle you place the order. But just so you know, they use the exact same iso to burn those cd's as what you download and burn yourself, there is NO difference. It just comes in a cute sleeve.
