How to use my video game console in mythtv

I have a haupauge pvr 500 which has rca inputs on it. Mythtv detects these and I want to try to use them. Does anyone know how to get it to switch to those inputs? If it's not possible in mythtv, is there a program that can stream directly from the rca inputs? if so, how would I find the /dev address of them? Thanks

The PVR-500 can't be used for this purpose. It has an onboard video encoder that creates mpeg2 streams. Due to the way this works, there will be a 1-2 second delay.
