Hey everybody this is my first post. i have just installed Ubuntu on the second hard drive on my desktop, and I'm absolutely loving it!
I am using an external sound card (M-Audio Connectiv) which goes out to my DJ mixer which goes out to my speakers. In System > Preferences > Sound, I have set audio playback for music and movies, sound events and audio conferencing to USB audio (the selection for my external sound card). When I play music files or hear system sounds, they all play through the USB audio card. However, when I want to use flash (for watching videos or listening to music) in Firefox or running other applications such as a game I downloaded (Balazar). The sound only plays through my Realtek AC97 sound card (i found this out by plugging the output of the Realtek card to another channel on my mixer. Is there a way to get all my sound playing through the USB sound card?
