how to get a wireless connection working

hi, i cant seem to get a wireless connection in ubuntu 7.10. how do i get it on here?

Sensitive area! Ubuntu and wireless don't get along pretty well.
Do a search in the forums with your router and your adapter name.
If that doesn't result in anything, you should try installing window$ drivers in Ubuntu with ndiswrapper.

What is your router model and how do you connect wirelessly to it (wireless card+model, usb adapter+model)?
