can't see menu in xmms

Hi,
i use Ubuntu 7.04
i have xmms installed..it works fine..
but i can't see any menu items..
i mean when i click.. the "grey" colored bar appears with arrows..but no text...nothing... also when i open .. "Add Dir" or "Add dile" etc menus...
the windows opens..i see "grey" rectangular buttons for "ok" "cancel" etc. but there is no text on those buttons...the buttons are blank.

It's not a fix, but I'd uninstall XMMS and install Audacious which is a fork of a fork of XMMS and better maintained overall.

Past that, it looks like it's an GTK1 rendering issue.

Maybe disable the 3d desktop? (If you've got it installed in 7.04?)
