I have three computers; a desktop and a laptop running Ubuntu 8.04, and a htpc running Mythbuntu 8.04, all connected via a wired router. When you do a brand new install and open Nautilus -> Network Servers (under Places) you can view all other computers connected to the same router.
However, i cannot do this any longer, i think i stuffed it when playing with samba. I don't think i will worry about samba for the moment (i am backing up across the network using rsync just fine at the moment), can someone help get my Network Servers access working again.
