Hi there, I know that when I'm installing a new windows xp, I always boot the cd, and format the entire computer (by deleting the old partion of Win. XP)... I was just wondering if I could do the same thing (Boot up Ubuntu, delete my windows partion, THEN install Ubuntu)... So, could I do that? If not, could I do something similar to that? Thanks alot...

when installing ubuntu, just choose "use entire disk" and it will format automatically. no need to delete the windows partition first.
