After installing a series of updates, I was asked to restart my computer so they could take effect. When I restarted, I got this error message displayed on a full-screen terminal (before I logged in or anything):
Starting up...
[42.941812]..MP-BIOS bug:8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC
[42.985947] Kernel panic-not syncing: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report. Then try booting with the 'noapic' option
I then restarted, and everything works fine. Is there something I should do now?
