Feature request: notification for new post in social group

I noticed that when a new post is made in the social group, you don't get a notification in your User CP. Or did I just missed the activate button somewhere?

you can auto-subscribe to every post you make... or in the according categories you can also subscribe for changes.

Thanks for replying, but it didn't answer my question. I was asking about social group, not normal threads.

aren't those normal categories also on which you can add a subscription? I have done a daile email batch upon new/changed threads of the tutorials section.
