I was trying to download t@b ZS4 (http://www.zs4.net/download).
I dragged the file (t@b_zweistein_linux_ubuntu32_0703161351) into the terminal and pressed enter (I was trying to install it). When I hit enter hundreds of lines of code came up (literaly). This was the last few lines of this:
99.00%: no launcher object specified
99.00%: cd "/home/eric/tmp/t@b/3630484/".
99.00%: launching "/home/eric/tmp/t@b/3630484/INSTALL.sh".

Am I installing it wrong? Or is this something else? Thanks.

Aren't you supposed to compile it yourself? Got to the dir and type ./configure, then type make, then make install.

I get the same problem and googled my way to this solution:
http://www.zs4.net/getting-zs4-to-run-on-odd-ball-linux-systems

Hope it works for you!
If not, try grab the Ubuntu specific package:
http://devel.zs4.org/zweistein_linux.html

Though it still did not compile on my system

Have you tried any of the video editors that are located in the repositories. You can search the repositories using System-->Administration-->Package Manager and search for video editors.
