Need a PM when i am thanked by a person for a post. or even a small notification would be enough saying YOU HAVE BEEN THANKED BY ***** FOR THIS USEFUL POST (link of the post)

That could be annoying. You can search for posts of yours that were thanked in your profile under Statistics.

or there can be a option to enable or disable it.

I agree with LaRoza, searching for them under your profile is easier.

I got 16 thanks in about 2 hours yesterday - you can't say that wouldn't be annoying :p
