Hey there,

I am a fan of IRC, and after seeing this, i noticed it would be right for me. So, after downloading it and everything, i could not figure out what to do. I even did the instructions on the faq and i still had problems. So, can you guys help me here?

Thanks!

Here's what I did. Go to Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal and copy each line one by one:

mkdir Applications
mkdir Applications/BitchX
cd Applications/BitchX
wget http://www.bitchx.com/download/BitchX-1.1-final-linux.tar.gz
tar xvf BitchX*.tar.gz
./BitchX

That's what I did. It's all in a terminal window though and I dunno what to do but I'm guessing it was running :)

Hope this helps.

That opened it in the terminal. I'm pretty sure it should have it's own program, but eh, i'll just find another application :)

Not sure what you mean. BitchX runs in the terminal.

Disregard. The forum truncated a URL I copied into Terminal. I fixed it.
