Hi all. cant really vocalize how disappointed I am in the new firefox, I know that developers are trying to make it better but NONE OF MY EXTENSIONS WORK AND THE FEW ONES THAT I FIND ALWAYS MALFUNCTION!!!!!
I am so frustrated right now, if any one feels like me please post it in here to see if there is a solution for it
Thanks

just wait up. the community should catch up quickly once the full 3.0 comes out. for now, adblock and noscript still work fine and thats all i need

I was going to say that...
Its betas were miles ahead of Fx any version, and everything still works.

Give it time for the extensions to catch up. The browser works great!

I think there's an extension that makes other extensions work, it's called "Nightly Testers" or something, I'm not 100% sure

The final will be out shortly and then the extensions will catch up.
In the mean time many use the nightly tester tools extension which will make many of the extensions work.

Firefox 3.0 isn't out until the 17th (Tuesday near me). Wait till' it gets released, then soon enough the things will work again :)

Uh, that's the fault of the creator of the extensions, it's not the fault of Firefox. If Firefox wants to progress, it sometimes has to break compatibility and depend on the developers to make compatible with FF3... it's similar to how everyone is saying that Windows should use a new kernel so it can be more effective but they can't because they'll break compatibility, except Mozilla isn't scared to break compatibility.

Nightly tester tools will force all your extensions to work.

:guitar: Now rock on Garth. Also if you have to install new extensions Google them and get them from Mozilla but not the add on section, this access has a auto force built in if you accept it.

Or you can just go here (http://www.dailygyan.com/2008/05/how-to-download-firefox-2-extensions.html).

I like Firefox 3.0; I was very pleased to see that the only extension I was using (AdBlock Plus) has a new version for 3.0. so no problems here
