So, I got my ubuntu booting on my Macbook Pro 4 (thanks to help in an earlier post), and now I'm trying to get the wireless card working.
Following the instructions here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook_Santa_Rosa
I get as far as "sudo modprobe ndiswrapper", at which point the next time I press any key on the keyboard, that keystroke repeats infinitely and I can do nothing else until I physically turn off the computer.
I've tried some slight variations, and searching google and these forums... no dice so far. Any ideas what I've done wrong?
(I'm keeping a record of the successful parts of the procedure I'm following, and will be happy to clarify it and post it somewhere for the edification of others once I'm done, if there's an appropriate place to do that.)
Thanks again,
Navrins
